May 18, 2017 --Jet Edge International continues its managed fleet growth; adding 17 managed aircraft to its rapidly growing fleet over the past two quarters. The Van Nuys based full-service private jet provider elevates the Jet Edge fleet to a total of 53 large cabin aircraft worldwide.
"Jet Edge and its incredible staff of employees are proud of the continued success that we've experienced in our segment," comments Jet Edge Chief Executive Officer Bill Papariella. "Even more importantly, however, it's how we've managed that growth that matters most to our private jet charter and aircraft management clients. Everything that we do as a company is aimed at serving their needs. At the same time, we also want to provide our charter customers more aircraft options within different regions of the US and abroad, which is what each of these new aircraft additions has been all about."
Jet Edge's corporate strategy over the past six years focused heavily on managing and operating primarily Gulfstream aircraft in order to optimize fixed costs to the owners and to be a one-stop shop for charter customers. Over the past two years the company's aircraft offerings have gradually expanded to other celebrated aircraft brands, including Bombardier's Global series, Dassault Falcon Jet 2000/900 series, and Embraer's Legacy 600/650 series. At the same time the company has expanded within the United States by organically growing the Florida and New York regions.
The newest additions to the Jet Edge fleet includes the Embraer Legacy 600 and 650 aircraft. These aircraft models offer charter fliers a host of proven benefits: large, luxurious cabins, improved efficiency and lower operating costs, and a remarkable dispatch reliability. They are versatile aircraft that are ideal for both North American and international travel.
Other new Jet Edge fleet additions include three more Gulfstream G200 super-midsize options and five ultra-long-range (ULR) aircraft: a Global Express, a Gulfstream GV and three Gulfstream G550s. All of the additions arrive with new interiors and the industry's latest and most technologically advanced cabin appointments.
The list of new additions and their base of operations include:
• Global Express (Los Angeles, CA)
• Falcon 2000 (San Jose, CA)
• Falcon 2000LX (New Haven, CT)
