Jet Edge International Announces Three New Executive Hires After Successfully Completing $60 Million Capital Raise

Full-Service Jet Management Firm Welcomes New CFO Michael Sanders, Vice President of Operations Terry Lentz, and Vice President of Aircraft Sales Clayton Smith

April 4, 2019 -- As Jet Edge continues to operate as one of the industry's leading large-cabin jet platforms, the company is hiring a trio of new executives to further strengthen the company's senior management team. The strategic hires include new Chief Financial Officer Michael Sanders, who joins Jet Edge along with new Vice President of Operations Terry Lentz and Vice President of Aircraft Sales Clayton Smith. The three new executive additions come alongside recent news of Jet Edge successfully completing a $60 million round of investment with Solace Capital Partners to further support company growth.

"Jet Edge has grown into the premier full-service large cabin private jet provider for the industry thanks to the talented people we have working here," comments Jet Edge International CEO Bill Papariella. "Our employees are responsible for our success, and to that end, we are constantly looking for ways to further upgrade our executive team to better serve our clients. As Jet Edge continues to look to the future with the capital raise completed, these new executives are paving the way for our continued success."

Among the new hires, Chief Financial Officer Michael Sanders has established himself as an executive experienced in rapidly growing advertising companies. Sanders comes to Jet Edge from the consumer product and fashion industries, where he oversaw highly successful brands during aggressive growth stages such as Ergo Baby and Big Strike. He started his career at Ernst & Young in their mergers and acquisitions division. As CFO, Sanders will be charged with assisting in forecasting, budgeting, and working with Jet Edge as the company further scales up its business. Sanders is a graduate of the University of San Diego.

Terry Lentz is Jet Edge's new Vice President of Operations. He arrives at Jet Edge from Jet Aviation, where he successfully oversaw operations as well as charter management. Before his seven-year run at Jet Aviation, Lentz worked at TWC Aviation. Lentz's career has been dedicated to working in the private aviation and travel industries. As the new Vice President of Operations, Lentz will be responsible for successfully managing Jet Edge's fleet and flight operations, as well as streamlining all related mechanisms to make sure systems run safely and efficiently. Lentz is a graduate of Montclair State University in New Jersey.

Jet Edge also welcomes Clayton Smith as the new Vice President of Aircraft Sales. Smith comes to Jet Edge after a ten-year post with XO Jet. Smith will focus on whole aircraft sales, aircraft management sales, and Jet Edge's current enterprise accounts.

"Jet Edge remains firmly committed to being the very best offering the aircraft services segment, and these three new hires will further strengthen our senior management team to that end," continues Papariella. "Jet Edge is about delivering a remarkable experience on the best operational platform in the world for our clients. Recruiting top talent is a high priority for us, and we are incredibly pleased to welcome these three new executives to our team."
