COVID-19 Safety: Jet Edge Partners with Redline Assured Security

JET EDGE INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS WITH REDLINE ASSURED SECURITY TO INTRODUCE INDUSTRY LEADING COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL FOR GLOBAL PRIVATE TRAVEL

Jet Edge Appoints Redline to Establish Elevated Safety Precautions at Every Point of Private Aviation Service as Global Aircraft Fleet Mobilizes for Clients

Los Angeles, CA (June 17, 2020) — Jet Edge is partnering with Redline- an Air Partner Company - to introduce new health and safety protocols to serve their fleet of over 80 aircraft. Specifically developed to allow charter clients to safely travel across the globe during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jet Edge selected Redline to introduce a series of dynamic operating procedures designed to protect travelers and Jet Edge flight crews.

“At Jet Edge, we hold our company to the highest standards of excellence in every facet of our business. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, nothing is more important to us than protecting the health and safety of our clients and team,” comments Jet Edge CEO Bill Papariella.

With demand in private aviation renewing as travelers look for the safest possible way to travel, Jet Edge is mobilizing its fleet of aircraft to meet the rigorous health and safety requirements of its sophisticated client base. The appointment of Redline came after Jet Edge monitored how the company flawlessly executed the safe repatriation flight in February of Diamond Princess cruise passengers returning from Japan on behalf of the UK government. Established in 2006, Redline specializes in providing government-standard security solutions and training for global aviation industry partners, corporations, and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI)properties.

“As our fleet of aircraft gets back in the air, Jet Edge could not be more pleased to partner with Redline. The protocols that have been developed will allow our clients to have the utmost confidence that they are utilizing the safest private travel solution when they fly on our fleet,” comments Jet Edge Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer.

Jet Edge retained Redline specifically to ensure all aviation operations companywide exceed the strictest health guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), in order to provide travelers elite protection against the spread of COVID-19. The new Jet Edge commission tasks Redline to produce the safest possible screening and operational procedures for travelers to avoid the risk of transmitting or contracting COVID-19.

Redline extends their globally recognized safety and security practices to all facets of Jet Edge’s private aviation activities, overseeing the implementation of Jet Edge’s industry leading safety protocol. This includes rigorous aircraft decontamination services before and after each flight as well as an additional preventative aircraft interior treatment with  an anti-microbial barrier called ClearCabin. Also included are pre-flight health assessments for flight crews and passengers, new operations best practices that feature redesigned in-flight procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, refreshed maintenance exercises for every aircraft, and other guidelines to allow clients complete confidence while traveling. Jet Edge’s health and safety protocol can be viewed on the website: flyjetedge.com/healthandsafety.

The full suite of health practices were overseen by Redline for Jet Edge in response to an absolute need for counteracting even the most remote risk of being in contact with COVID-19. All new safety procedures were introduced as preventative procedures for pilots and flight crew members to employ in order to protect clients and themselves. Redline also made sure to institute new practices for all maintenance, line service, and vendors in proximity of any Jet Edge aircraft. All new health and safety protocols were produced to exceed the most stringent standards set by the CDC, WHO, OSHA, and the FAA alongside guidance from the world’s most respected major OEM aircraft manufacturers.
